Description

The term SHOCK and AWE is thought to be a military strategy based on achieving dominance over an adversary using overwhelming force and firepower. Though serving K-12 education isn’t a military operation, EdTech leaders must strategize!!!! For the past several years, educators have been engaged in shock and awe situations. Now, we need to be shocked with effective strategies and experience the awe in the achievement of desired results. We will articulate the strategies we’ve learned that will describe how we can transform learning. The pandemic has created the largest disruption of education systems in history. Closures have impacted over 94% of the world's students. Tremendous opportunities exist, changing the narrative, embracing more personalized and hybrid learning. We will discuss action-oriented tactics that are supported by best practices, greater engagement and innovative techniques. FETC Workshops require an additional registration fee or premium registration. All workshops are BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) for hands on participation.
